Retreats and Special Events

Starseed Ranch is located in the heart of the Niuli’i ahupua’a on the northern coast of the Big Island. We are a short 15-minute drive from historic Hawi Town, at the ‘end of the road’ near Pololu Valley. Our 26-acre estate is completely off-grid, run by hydro-electric and solar systems. Throughout the beautifully landscaped grounds, you will find balinese-style buildings and covered walkways, group meeting spaces and a diverse tropical orchard and farm. We offer several lodging options from private cabins, to glamping tents and tent camping. We can accommodate up to 15 overnight guests, plus more with camping options. Day use activities can expand up to 150 guests. The center of the ranch features lodging, kitchen, dining, classroom/movement space and a bathhouse. Event rentals have complete access to all of these facilities and the grounds during their stay. Several of the spaces can be customized to suit your special event. Starseed is a special and unique destination. The land here is filled with mana and natural beauty, providing the perfect setting for your next retreat or gathering.

The beautifully built Balinese hales (cabins) are constructed with local materials including bamboo and ohia wood. ‘Bali’, ‘Hula’, ‘Hana’ and ‘Jungalow’ hales provide comfortable double occupancy and can be configured as two twins or a king size bed. ‘Coconut Hale’ is slightly larger with room for up to 4, perfect for families, and has a private toilet and sink on the lanai (porch). All hales are nestled into our lush gardens with remarkable views, and offer peaceful lanais to relax & unwind while listening to the sounds of nature.

Our platform canvas tents create an elevated and luxurious “glamping” experience for guests visiting the ranch. Both our ‘Makai’ and ‘Mauka’ tents are secluded amongst fruit trees and palms on our farm, offering privacy and serenity.
